I am listing 2 tools which I use to manage and monitor network/server infrastructure. Hope this will help network administrators.
1. RackTables
RackTables is a datacenter asset management system
Racktables is a nifty and robust solution for datacenter and server room asset management. It helps document hardware assets, network addresses, space in racks, networks configuration and much much more! For a Live Demo Please see link : http://racktables.org/demo.php
To download Racktables : https://sourceforge.net/projects/racktables/files/RackTables-0.20.11.tar.gz/download
2. Nagios Core
Nagios Core is the monitoring and alerting engine that serves as the primary application around which hundreds of Nagios projects are built.
Nagios Core serves as the basic event scheduler, event processor, and alert manager for elements that are monitored. It features several APIs that are used to extend its capabilities to perform additional tasks, is implemented as a daemon written in C for performance reasons, & is designed to run natively on Linux/Unix systems.
