VOICE MAIL POCKET GUIDE
1.
If you are calling from outside the organisation:
Dial
the telephone number of your organization.
When the greeting is played from the system dial 95.

When asked, enter your mail box
number.
·
Enter your password.
2 If you are calling from an extension within
the organization:
·
Dial voice mail extension number – 95
·
When asked, enter your mailbox
number.
·
Enter your password.
The password consist of 4 digits, representing
your extension number (if applicable), Preceded by zeros to make up a total of
4 digits.
E.g.
extension 25 will have a password of
0025
E.g.
extension 125 will have a password of
0125.
This
password can be changed at any time using the option 'edit your mailbox'
You
now have to make a choice:

Listen to your messages
After choosing option 1 from
the menu, information regarding the number of messages in your mailbox is
given.
Your first message will be read automatically.
You then have a choice of 6 options:

Erase the message you have heard.

Listen again to the message you have heard.

Listen to your next message.

Forward the message to another extension. You will be asked for the
mailbox number of the person you want to forward the message to enter this
using the telephone keys. Confirmation from the recipient will be provided.

Leave the voice mail menu.
While listening to your voice mail messages, pressing the
telephone keys will perform the following actions.

Edit your mailbox
After choosing option 2 in the menu, you will be
able to easily change specific setting like password, greeting messages etc.
You can also choose to enter your pager settings.
Using voice mail dial out, you can be informed on and
external number or mobile phone number, as soon as new message arrives in your
mailbox.
In this menu 7 choices are offered:

1: After the
beep, record your greeting message that will be heard by each caller who
arrives at your mailbox to leave a message. Terminate with the # key. After the
recording you will be asked if you want to keep the message or re-record it.
You will return to the main menu.
2: After the
beep, record your user name. As default, only the mailbox number is given to
the caller. After the recording, you will hear the new message: " This is
the mailbox of 'user name'".
3: Enter a
new 4-digit password. You will be asked to enter this a second time. If both
entries are the same, your new password is registered as valid and can be used.
If not you are informed that you have entered two different password, and you
will be returned to the menu.
4: Enter
your pager number. You will be asked to confirm your entry.
5: Enter the
phone number you want your message waiting indication sent to. Terminate with
the # key. You will be asked to confirm your entry. If you simply enter a #
key, this will delete any existing voice mail dial out settings.
