Yes, You can use the analog voice input (3.5mm jack) behind the control unit to feed the audion into it. I have used this to configure music on hold on Avaya ip office 500 v2. You can connect a computer to this port and play the music continuously in a vlc media player in the computer. Please feel free to ask questions.
The answer is: yes, and no, it depends on which calls you are forwarding. As per TRAI, it is illegal if the call is originated outside India, and the Avaya system is located/hosted within India, and if the call is forwarded/diverted to a mobile phone/landline in India.
